For over ten years, I have been a Senior Auditor with a large federal agency. I also served as the Acting Branch Chief. My responsibilities include resolving audit findings, reviewing financial statements, financial capability reviews, cost analysis, and the negotiation of indirect cost rates for grants. I have also negotiated indirect cost rates for large contractors.

Prior to my current position, I was an auditor at another large federal agency for four years. There I was the fiduciary of a major fund for the federal program. Additionally, I reviewed financial statements and performed financial capability reviews of large publicly-traded insurance carriers. I also served as the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and performed contract administration functions.

Prior to government service, I was also an auditor for a regional CPA firm for two years. At the CPA firm, I performed audits of organizations from various industries and conducted single audits for local governments. Moreover, I prepared partnership/corporate tax returns and provided accounting services to small businesses.

To stay abreast of any changes in the accounting and auditing profession, I obtain continuing professional education training. I’m licensed as a CPA in DC, FL, and WV. I hold a Master of Business Administration degree with a concentration in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. I am also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the West Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants.
